Sophal Ros
Sophal Ros is a dual service Service Disabled Veteran that is a United States Army combat veteran who has spent time overseas with a tour in South Korea in Osan Air Base with the Patriot Defense Unit. After this tour, he served another tour in Kuwait and Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. He then also served in the United States Navy Reserve with the Navy Seabees until 2008.
He graduated from Crawford High School in San Diego, then shortly after his military service attended and graduated with a B.S in Business Management and a B.S in Business Administration with the University of New Orleans. During the middle of attending UNO during hurricane Katrina, he was forced to evacuate across country throughout Louisiana, Texas then back to California, where he attended Coleman University and received my Associates in Computer Networking.
He moved back to New Orleans afterwards to continue his schooling at UNO, thus working as a helpdesk and desktop and A/V support technician while attending as a student. He also worked for a Managed Service Provider or an MSP after classes part time until graduation then worked for the same MSP full time for a total of 15 years providing I.T. support for hundreds of company and clients from different industries such as legal, medical, retail and non-profits.
He provided break-fix, and was a network administrator, systems administrator, VOIP administrator and Exchange and Office365 administrator for those various clients during his tenure at New Orleans I.T.
